Rental Application and Process Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I'm interested in renting in Olé, what do I do?

A. The first step is to fill out our rental application together with the owner.  We have two (2) application forms, one (1) for returning renters and one (1) for standard renters.  Click below to download the standard renter application form or the returning renter application form.

Q. Am I considered a returning renter?

A.  Returning renters are applicants that have rented in Olé in the past twelve (12) months.  The background check processing fee is waived for returning renters.

Q.  What are the rules on length of rentals?

A.  The minimum length of rental is thirty (30) days and the maximum is twelve (12) months.

Rental agreements for less than thirty (30) days are in violation of the covenants of the Olé Condominium Association.  Owners may be fined and/or lose their privilege to rent their condominium.  Tenants of owners who violate the rules will not be able to use the amenities of Olé, including pools, fitness center, restaurants, and movie theater.


Q.  What do I need to submit with my rental application?

A.  The required rental packet will have a completed rental application, a copy of the lease agreement with a No Pets clause included and signed by both parties, a copy of photo IDs and a check or money order made out to Olé at Lely Resort in the amount of the background check processing fee.

Returning Renters do not need to submit a check, as the fee is waived.

Q.  How much is the background check processing fee?

A.  The background check processing fee is $100 for one (1) or two (2) applicants; ages eighteen (18) and older.  Each additional applicant age eighteen (18) or older is an additional $50.

Q.  How far in advance do I need to have my complete application submitted?

A.  We require the application to be received by Resident Services a minimum of twenty (20) days before the start date of the rental period.

Submitting the application less than twenty (20) days before may result in a delay to the renters' move-in and access to Olé amenities.  The approval process will not begin until all required components have been received.
