COURTBRIDGE I TRASH & RECYCLING PICKUP SCHEDULE*• Monday – Trash

• Friday – Trash
*Trash should only be placed by the curb between 5am to 9am on pickup days.
There is no trash pickup on the following holidays:
• New Years Day
• Memorial Day
• July 4th
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
TRASH ENCLOSURE RULES*
• Place all trash in bins.
• Do not place trash in recycling bins.
• Break down all cardboard boxes.
• No appliances, furniture, or other bulk trash allowed.
• No construction debris allowed.
• No paint or other hazmat materials allowed.
• No electronics.
*Violators will be fined $50
BULK TRASH DISPOSAL:
If you have bulk trash for disposal, our trash vendor – Olivo Trash Service – will pick it up for a small fee. To schedule a bulk trash pickup, contact Alex Olivo at 703-789-5032 or submit a request form on the Olivo Trash Service website.
HAZMAT ITEMS AND ELECTRONICS:
Arlington's HHM Facility accepts most solid, liquid, compressed gas and aerosol products--typically flammable, corrosive or poisonous--and used in the home. Common HHM products include paint, motor oil, pesticides and fertilizer.
The HHM Facility/Electronics Collection and Recycling Center is open most days of the week for drop-off only to Arlington County residents and employees. There is no charge for the service. Business and commercial hazardous materials are not accepted.

ARLINGTON COUNTY TRADES CENTER:
The Arlington County Trades Center, which is adjacent to Courtbridge, also provides a variety of recycling services, including:
• Recycling drop off
• Scrap metal drop off
• Food scrap drop off
• Will accept some appliances for recycling for a fee
• Free monthly paper shredding
• Mulch pick-up

Olivo Trash Service accepts the following items for recycling:
• Cardboard
• Office paper (white or color)
• Newspapers and magazines
• Junk mail
• File folders
• Computer paper
• Sticky notes
• Card stock paper
• Aluminum and tin cans
• Glass bottles and jars
• Paper grocery bags (NO plastic!)
• #1 plastic bottles (water and soda)
• #2 plastic containers (milk and detergent)
• #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 containers
NOTE: All items must be clean in order to be recycled.
